FAQ
If there is a lot of air in the filter pump, the flow will be reduced and the pump will make a rattling noise. To make the pump work properly again, the air must be released properly. To release the air from the pump we would ask you to follow the step-by-step plan below:
Step 1:
Switch off the pump
Step 2:
Turn the air release valve on top of the housing lid clockwise to open (figure 1)
Step 3:
Air should now escape from the valve
Step 4:
As soon as water comes out of the air release valve, you can close it by turning it anti-clockwise (picture 2 and 3)
Step 5:
The pump has now been properly released of air and can be switched on again
